Chatuchak Market

Featured Replies

I plan to visit the mid meek Chatuchak market and need help in where the best place for parking (can you park inside?)

Whilst in the area a want to visit K.U. Garden centre which i've never been to before. I would be greatful if anyone could give me any good directions from Chatuchak to K.U. I want to try here in an attempt to get an answer here before calling K.U as i'm not to sure of their english skills.

I plan on buying quite a few items and that's the main reason for wanting to be parked close to save the my arms and the wife's back a wee bit.

Thanks in advance.

You can park in JJ mall multistory car park - about 20 Baht/hour

It is on Kampheang Phet 2 which is on the west side of the market.

If you buy lots then get a porter with a cart. There are lots around.

Not sure what you are buying but I go every Friday when a lot of it is open and there are no crowds.

Hello thescot, are you going on Wed.?, Plant day if I remember right.

KU is about 300M south of the Kamphaengphet - Phahon Yothin intersection, west side of Phahon Yothin Rd.

Thanks for the replies. My first map search was way out and threw me off the tracks. I have now located the place and even got the missus to confirm by phone. They have parking and are open from 08:00 - 17:00.

Thanks again
