Sportequipment Shipping To Thailand

Hi there

I think of buying dive equipment in a onlineshop in Europe or the US, because the local prices in patong are just unbelievable high. Me and a Friend stay here since more then 5 month (still with TR Visa) and want to do the Divemaster, which requires a full set of Diveequipment.

My problem is now to find out what the import taxes will be, to ship this stuff into thailand.

In this particular case the value of all goods will be around 100'000 Bath, Shippingcosts about 5000 Bath with DHL Int and the Package will not exceed 20kg. Size will also be rather small with sidelength of not more than 100cm.

I would be really happy if you could share your experiences with shipping sport equipement into thailand. I also hope someone knows what the expected taxes will be on a shipment like this.
