This whole area is full of condo apartments.

You could try Ramkhamheang soi 24 right behind the Rajamangla football stadium.

In the area of the Grand Sports FBT shop there are many apartments, sorry cant remember the soi number, just get off the canal boat at the ta ruea Ram Uni.

Many of these have rents starting from 4,000 baht per month and up, but check on the price per unit for water and electric.

Sorry cant give recommendations, your best bet would be to hit the road and look around in the area, as you will soon find out, there are so many to choose from.

Take it you will be attending the uni, can anyone there give you any recommendations?

I used to stay in a 1-bedroom unit in Suksabai apartment back in the early 90s. Located just next to the Mall 3 building, further up from Foodland supermarket.

Very convenient for shopping, bus and canal transport.
