taxexile
people who feel the need to announce to the world that they have given to a charitable cause by wearing wristbands , badges etc. are a sorry lot.
The Avenger
Anyone remember the POW bracelets that were the rage during the final years of the Vietnam conflict?
Popeyethesailorman
Anyone remember the POW bracelets that were the rage during the final years of the Vietnam conflict? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, I guess I should feel like a total schmuck. I'm wearing one as we speak. I never realized it was a fad. Boy, do I feel stupid now! I'm going to melt it down and make a couple of nipple rings out of it. expatinasia
I bought 10 (the fewest you can buy) directly from the Lance Armstrong Foundation in Austin, TX. Actually, that is the only authorized place to buy them. Regardless, if you'd like to buy 1, I'll sell it to you for B100 (I paid $1 each - $10 for the bagful, and then another $16 for postage) - my cost. Email me at "[email protected]". I live in the CDB and am in the Sukumvit area nearly every day - Friday night's @ Gulliver's around 7PM. I'll even bring the mailing envelope from the Foundation to show there're legit. Cheers!
