junkofdavid2 Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 (edited) I tried the Hotel Intercon buffet last night... 1,400 Nett (Restaurant named "Espresso") Pan seared Foie gras was great! Very big crabs legs were great! Grilled lamb rack tasted great, but was overcooked... will tell them to make it medium-rare next time. Beef prime rib looked great but was kinda dry and hard (not too many customers). Rock lobsters were so-so; nothing compared to the great crabs. Ice cream gelato style was good! Crepes Suzette were so-so.. BEAT THIS: Dine between now until Sept 30, and they give a free gift voucher for exactly the same value (less tax+ service) so that you can use it next time! PAY ONCE - EAT TWICE!! So I went home with a voucher for 1,190 which I can use til Oct 23 (1 month)... so I'll eat the buffet again and I'll just pay the tax and service. The gift voucher can be used in ANY of the restaurants of the hotel, including those in Holiday Inn which is from the same group. .
