Non-imm. 1 Year Business Visa

Featured Replies

I have a multiple entry, non-imm. Business visa valid for 1 year.

I entered LOS on July 11th and the stamp says the visa is admitted until October 8th. On October 6th i'm planning to cross the border with Cambodia and then head back to Bangkok the same day. The Thai consulate in Holland didn't provide me any information about visa renewal so do you guys have any tips for my first time border crossing / visa renewal? Do's and Don'ts?

Also, i've read some posts people mentioning reporting to the police every 60 days? What's that? The Thai consulate didn't tell me anything about that.

1. You exit Thailand; enter other country; exit other country; enter Thailand. If Cambodia you will have to obtain a visa for entry so cost for that and photo. On return to Thailand be sure to enter you visa number on arrival card and check that you get a 90 day stamp. I would advise using a visa service as price is not that high and you will get an idea of what is required without being a target of every opportunist.

2. You do not do any address reporting using visa entry - that is for those staying in country longer than 90 days at a time.

I'm going to use a visa service. My friend offered to drive me to Cambodia by car, but like you said it's better to let someone else handle the formalities and stuff the first time so i get an idea about how it works. Next time i'll probably take the car.
