Hi...is it your sons' first birthday (as in is he turning one) or is it his first party? Anyhow ,if he is turning one then I think Dreamworld is a little too grown up. When my son was very young we had parties for him at Little Gym or Gymboree. They have great party planners and tailor the party to the age of the child/number of guests. Neither provided any catering (other than drinks) but it was no problem getting au bon pain or similar to cater, and they were surprisingly inexpensive. Good luck!
