Have Double Entry Visa

I have a recent 09/09 /09 double entry visa,and i understand all that it is applicable to it...EXCEPT..tomorrow i have to leave LOS on business for 7 days only.

On return does my existing visa remain as it is, or do they change anything in any way?

If you leave you'll be using your last entry upon return and your visa will be marked as used....Unless you get a re-entry permit at an immigration office. It will cost 1000 baht and preserve your current entry.

You must obtain your re-entry permit before you leave the country, otherwise your current permission to stay will die.

Yes, head down to the immigration office today and get your re-entry permit. When you return your current entry stamp will remain valid and you'll still have one further entry allowed on your tourist visa.

You can do this as many times as you like or if you leave and come back often you can get a multiple-entry re-entry permit which can be used as many times as you like for your current entry stamp (only). Once your current stamp expires you need to get a new re-entry permit for your second entry.
