Greetings everyone,

I am a newcomer to the forum, have just been reading all I can the past few days and I had a question that I can't find the answer to, perhaps someone may be able to help.

As many of you know there are several providers out there that help you by providing the documentation necessary to secure a one year non immigrant B visa. My question is, when that visa has expired and you have gone back to your home country, will they approve the process all over again when you reapply? Meaning if you don't secure a work permit during that one year stay, can you still qualify for this visa for another go around?

I would just like to know what sort of options are available in this scenario. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Write a similar letter to the one you submitted to the Consulate last time.

In Asia you won't get a new (multiple) non-B without a work permit. In Europe and Australia you would be able get a new non-B with a simple letter from a prospective employer for instance.

Thank you for the responses.

I don't have an issue with going back to the states briefly to reapply, I just wasn't sure that they would issue another if you had not attempted to secure a work permit during the prior entry.

I appreciate all the knowledgeable people on here and their advice, I am glad I stumbled upon this forum... I am learning a ton every day.

Thai embassies and consulates will issue you a Non-Immigrant 'B' visa as often as you qualify for one. I'm not aware of any restrictions on the number of times you can enter Thailand on a business visa.

There is nothing like on their books, and I doubt that there will be in the foreseeable future.

I would be going back to the US and reapplying from there, do you think that is still an issue?

Would suggest you apply at an honorary consulate. Houston and Portland have been reported in this forum as being helpful/flexible. Normally a simple letter from a prospective employer will suffice.

Ok, I just confirmed through a chat with siam legal that this is a perfectly acceptable practice and would be fine. I did want to see what folks on here had to say as well though as I know sometimes there is conflicting advice out there.

Everyone has been most helpful, thanks!
