Is it right, that a Cambodian does not need a Visa to visit Malaysia for a short trip, some days, except maybe a valid return Ticket?

Would like to visit the Sepang MotoGP race with my GF. I made that trip before with Thai GF without a problem, but that Cambodians need a visa for Thailand and vice versa, confuses me.

The only thing i can help you with is that i also have been to Malaysia with my Thai g/f that is now my wife and have never had any problems getting her in to Malaysia.Maybe it would be a good idea to look up visa requirements on the Malaysia govt website,that will tell you what nationalities etc need to apply for a visa.I personally dont think she would have any problem if she was travelling with you but would check their govt website just to make sure,maybe they would also have a phone number you could call and check for yourself.

Just got back from Malaysia with my Laos gf. I had got her a return ticket to Laos just in case but not needed. She got 30 days entry with no problems, and no need to show onward ticket coming back.

Ok, thank you posters, so I will check it out with a Malaysian embassy or their Website as the informations so far are not satisfying.

from the Website of the -Malaysian Embassy in Phnom Penh- which I Googled.

Cambodians do not need Visa for Malaysia, they get 1 month On Arrival.

It seems all ASEAN countrys have the same possibilitys 1 month on arrival,

Except

Myanmar Normal Passportholders,

They need to apply for a Visa.

All together Malaysia ia easy going with their Visa requirements, only few countrys (mostly African)

Have to apply for Visas.

I'm not Cambodian but traveled with national Cambodians to Malyasia.

Simple and smoothly for Cambodian tourists in this country.

Same in Singapore.
