The Schengen states agreed on a fixed amount for all member states.

That amount is around 35 euro per day!

The maximum time for the visa is 90 days, which means € 3150 in the bank for (nearly) 3 months

Better be her guarantor, cheaper all around.

Ask the authorities in Spain or at the embassy how to do and what you need.
