You can sell almost every thing in Thailand why can't I sell trailers? I have been trying this for almost 5 years I don't like to advertise here which is against the forum rules but I do like to know.

May be it's because the Thais prefer to overload their pick ups. A probable cost saving execise ?

Maybe it's because trailers have to be registered and taxed etc just like a car, I think.

Trailers? - what type of trailers?

Have a word with your local Kubota dealer - their D60 rice harvester is proving popular and I have seen many farmers buying trailers to hitch to their pick-ups and tractors to carry them around. I had one which I sold to a local dealer.

I also haven't seen anywhere here that I can get a reliable trailer hitch put on a car, or even somewhere that sells the hitch kits. I think that anyone living upcountry could use these (as soon as I move out of the big smoke, I plan to get one).

I've used Viking Trailers of Korat: http://www.weekendhobby.com/sale/Question.asp?ID=137635

All the trailers I've seen in Thailand have been attached to the sides of motorbikes.

Maybe you need to change your target customer.
