Anyone Got A Unibody Mac With A Thai Keyboard?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'd asked Eric at kbcovers.com, a dealer in silicone keyboard overlays for Apples, if he had any plans to make one for Thai. He requested pictures of an actual keyboard, so I supplied him with an illustration from Apple's site, as there are no Thai keyboards available in the US and no pics on the web, so it seems: www.info.apple.com/images/kbase/304933/304933_18b.gif

The illustration wasn't adequate (for unknown reasons), so I appeal to you who are fortunate enough to be in Thailand at this moment: if anyone could post (or hel_l, send it to him directly at salesATkbcoversDOTcom) a clear shot of a Thai keyboard from a Unibody MacBook/MacBook Pro there may soon be a decent alternative to stickers and overpriced keycaps (assuming you can even get them).

If you're already at the computer reading this, PLEASE SHOOT IT! I've been through quite a search so far and would appreciate it immensely.

Also, I'd be interested in hearing what other solutions y'all have tried that have met with success.

And before I forget- thanks to everyone on this forum for making it such an invaluable resource!

Here's a photo that I've just taken of the keyboard of my 2007 model 17" MacBook Pro. Unfortunately the Thai lettering is extremely small, and the 'glare' from the aluminium chassis doesn't make it the best photo in the world!

Thanks pagallim and hughden!

I sent the pictures in and he said they can start to develop a cover now. My follow-up here is a little late because I'd hoped I might be able to get an approximate date from him, but didn't get a response. Looks like progress, at any rate...
