Latest Technologies Available In Thailand?

I usually try to buy the latest products and still have the possibility of some remote work. How available are the latest technologies in Thailand. For example in Japan if I want a motherboard I can select from perhaps 50 or so in one store. In the USA I can buy the latest high capacity disk drives or the new soon to be announced Mac Mini.

Can I buy very new computer products in Thailand and how much more do they cost than in the US?

Do I have to buy from Bangkok?

Can I buy through the internet and have delivered?

In general, low to mid range components are comparably priced with European prices (which are slightly higher then USA prices).

But, when going top end, firstly it'll be hard to find and secondly it'll be very expensive. The market for top range stuff is very small in Thailand.

Brandname stuff such as anything Apple entirely depends on Apple's policy on when to sell in Thailand. You can ofen buy before the offical release dates, but this is gray import, often with high prices and warranty issues.
