I am wondering what might cause the different page displays of The Nation web site

This is what I get displayed on my screen if I open with FF 3.0.14 and Chrome

compared with IE 6 - that ancient browser displays the page correctly.

I put The Nation in my IE Tabs for Firefox a long time ago due to their pages not always displaying correctly. Believe it is either the flash content or java/js.

The Nation's website is one of the worst coded websites I've ever seen. They break just about every rule there is to break when it comes to HTML standards. And as you can see for yourself, they have optimized their website for IE and don't care about the other browsers. The front page alone has 218 HTML warnings, not really ideal :)

Web site develpers often only think about IE and forget that a growing number

of viewers use FireFox, Opera, Chrome and the like. :)
