Recently WMP has not been reading artist info,song list or cover art. The music is there it just titled unknown artist etc and I have to label it all myself. I have a good internet conection. I know there are a lot of other players out there but this is what I have gotten used to. Any sugestions would be appreciated?

If you connected to the internet when the CD is ripping right click on a track and it will open a box then click on Find album info this will find the album or go thought the selection it gives.

I would really like to get it back the way it was before. When I ripped a cd to library the artists information along with album art and song titles loaded up automatically when I was online

It all depends on the CD's real ones seem to work OK Copy's are usually a problem as some time they switch a couple of tracks round so not in order to get round copy write laws

There's nothing wrong with the cd's I am in canada right now so copies not an issue

WMP don't update the artist information when its ripped from a Audio Cd. You can try updating the information manually, right click on the file , properties and you can enter the artist information. When you rip the Audio CD WMP don't even know the name of the song so it will name it as Track1, Track2...etc. Its been a long time since I have ripped a audio cd so I am not sure how updated my knowledge is .

There must be some way of kick starting wimp so that it will reach out on the net and give me all the album info automatically when ripping to library. Anyone got any ideas for me?
