Forum Link Not Working

Featured Replies

The directory tree link near the top of the page, above the ads by Google and below the "Logged in as" bar often does not work, when I click on "Thailand Forum", instead it takes me to an "Oops" page (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/) that suggests another link, which does work.

It's not a major annoyance, but I thought the boffins might like to know.

I've pointed that out to the webmaster before, it doesn't happen all the time, so it is a bit strange

It's been like this for long time.

It only happens when your browser puts it's session ID in the url instead of in a cookie.

From my experience it happens most often when you enter the forum via a link from somewhere, for example the newsletters that are sent out. But I don't see any distinct pattern.

It happens when you follow a link from George's Facebook update . Its a problem with the php script which adds a session id for all the links including the http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/ Thailand Forum link which becomes something like http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/&45sdfsdf54545454 Thailand Forum which is invalid and causes all the problem.
