I was told that I need to let my current license expire by 1 day before I can get my 5 year license. Does anyone have experience with this? Looks like i got my questions answered after reading the important topics at the top of the page. Guess i should have started there first before posting. Oh well, me bad! Mai bpen rai. I did not need a verification of residence address when i got my one year license. I do have a valid work permit though and wonder if this document is used in place of the residence verification.
