Buriram

Hi everyone,

Ok just a long shot here, But, I am looking for a friend that I met on way to Pattaya last year and have e-mail with a few times.

His last e-mail was that he had built a house for his girlfriend and was going to live with her in Buriram. Now whether this was actually in Buriram or near I am not sure.

I have sent a few e-mails to his address but they are bouncing back as his account has no more space left. So just trying to make contact with him and see how he is doing. I have a girlfriend that lives near Buriram and am heading (well if everything goes to plan) out there in April next year. So would be great to catch up with him.

So anyone know or met a Mercel that has recently moved there? Let me know! I have read that there are only around 1300 Farangs up there so shouldn't be to difficult!

Thats a long way to go to find a friend you just met on a bus on the way to pattaya. you can try in the local buriramexpats website's forum. there are some locals might know something..

very true. But as I am going to be in that area in April, just thought I could maybe get a free meal and a few beers one day plus would gain big merit with girlfriend if she saw I know someone else in the area. Plus it could be a day out from maybe being dragged around relatives houses and local wats

What nationality is he? Mercel don't sound like a sock .

There are a few farang owned bars in Buriram and I just wonder IF one is the same nationality as Mercel, then they might know him?

Ah the comical cynics now emerge. Well as I have not know my g/f as long as he has know his! I have a get out clause. If you ever have a get out clause from a Thai g/f???

Anyway could be used as a lever for her to be exra nice to me for a while lol

Marcel..........from Belgium? You can ask Ludo from timeout in bankadon (http://www.bankadon.info/). He is also from Belgium ans know a lot of people. On the buriramexpats website is also a dutch forum. More than 50% speak dutch in Belgium maybe you can try overthere also.
