P.a. Policy Or Medical Insurance Policy

Looking for some help deciding.

My main concern is being covered if i have an accident on my scooter. Axa have a 2mil baht cover plan (medical coverage 200,000 baht for all accidents) at 4989 baht.

But, the Standard plan + extender from LMG Pacific would only be 7,200 baht. ..But, that is only 50,000 personal accident.

Im 36 years old and in good health (although i realise that could change at any point!).

Do you think PA only is a crazy idea? But..the Medical Insurance Policy coverage for accident seems so low!

Do you guys prefer to take out both policies?

Advice most appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Oh..but looking over the Bupa plan, it looks like i can go for their basic plan but boost the PA.

ie: Sapphire plan (Hospitalization only)@ 5738 baht + PA (900,000baht coverage) @ 1858 baht = 7596 baht.

or Sapphire plan & major medical @ 8697 baht + PA (900,000baht coverage) @ 1858 baht = 10555 baht.

But..i think thats for a lump sum payment for death or dismemberment! Not much use then really is it!

OH im so confused!!!!!!!

How to choose what suit you is to see what you want as a safety plan. Medical insurance is good to cover general expenses, but PA would add up benefit when you encounter an accident. How much you should pay for either depend on how you value it and keep the balance between both.

I suggest you study the benefits of both first and you will understand much better.
