I just had the same problem with e-mail notification of new topics. One topic (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=309654) sent me 8 (yes eight!) notifications, before that another topic sent 4 e-mail notifications!

Looks like an issue with the outgoing mail server, I have alerted the sysadmin.

It appears to have calmed down somewhat.

Now I only get the occasional double or triple e-mail notification for one or two posts a day.

32!! times last night (04:16 hrs.)

but I have to admit that only the first three notifications led to post #311206, all the remaining 29 mails led to a post #311203 which has obviously been deleted but the notifications had the same title as the original 311206 post.
