BANGKOK, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Ousted former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra will open 100 television channels through internet system on Sunday, Noppadon Pattama, legal advisor to Thaksin said on Saturday.

The first two channels will be open at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, the INN news agency quoted Noppadon, also a former foreign minister assaying.

The first channel is called "O channel" which is about the "One Tambon, One Product" or OTOP scheme initiated by the Thaksin administration, Noppadon said, adding that it will open a channel for boosting sales of the OTOP products and spur economic growth.

Another channel called "Clever channel" will be a channel for supporting Thai students in education aspect and enabling them to stay competitive in the international community, he said.

Thaksin will also open a channel to let Thai people contact him through SMS and his twitter website, the legal advisor said.

Thaksin was ousted by a military coup in September 2006 and has been in exile since then. In February 2008, Thaksin returned to Thailand to face corruption charges but later went to exile again and was convicted in absentia.

With the response (or lack of ) he will get, may be Thaksin finally will know that his time is over and should move on.
