Excellent advice, Mossfinn. And when STEFFG does that, he should mention why he needs the change – this is rarely done but I remember the case of the member who was being stalked by his ex-wife – and whether he wants his posts made as STEFFG carried over to the new name.

In situations like this where the OP just created their ThaiVisa forum account two days ago and has only made four posts, wouldn't it just be simpler for the user to create a new account? Or is that frowned upon?
