Jing Jok

Featured Replies

using a cheeto to attract ants to save a dying jing jok?...hmmm, there's something profoundly existential about this arrangement...

we got lots of the little critters around an' they're all my friends; I tried to shoo them all away when I sprayed death around my kitchen to get rid of the ants...never saw a dead one after so's maybe we're on the same wave length...I've had them fall on my head, twice so's maybe there is a jing jok/human matrix that we don't know about...still gotta clean up their shit in the morning on the kitchen counter but, small price to pay...affinity wise... :)

Ok..small update on the jingjok.

He keeps coming back in! Three times ive put him out. Its the same little guy, im sure, because he is so dam_n skinny and has a crooked tail.

From this vid, you can see i think he has a prob with his leg(s). Maybe thats why he wouldnt run before? Not sure how long he will last really..but hes still going. Just hope he can fill up his belly.

tutsi, it wasnt like that. I touched him because he was in the middle of my floor and not moving. I then took out the video and filmed him once more. After that i got him and put him safely back outside again in the hope he will yet again get food.

then later saw a TV program that talked about the medical ramifications of the properties of such a phenomenon that could be VERY beneficial for humans ( but i forgot what the ramifications/benefits were)..maybe someone else knows..

if not regrowing some parts of the body (hand or even finger or ear), than regrowing or repairing some internal organs - without the need for risky restructurisation operations, implants from humans, animals or artificial ones (all difficult and expensive)

I used to have some pet Axalottles - they are amazing things. They can even regenerate part of their brain if eaten. They were always taking bites out of each other - legs biten off, tails etc - then a week or so later and they're back whole again. They live in water and have external gills - frilly mane that soaks up air in the water - its reckoned that these things could be a clue to making us immortal by regrowing our organs.

PS: Glad Tiger is back on his suckers.

Didn't know their name before, here's one of mine :)

Got several here on my balcony and sometimes in my room. One of them had me jump one time suddenly emerging from my shoe, must have been really funny to see me with both feet of the ground. The time this happened with a roach in my previous condo was a less pleasant experience...

He's probably just getting old...like me (sigh).

I haven't seen ours for about 3 weeks. Not sure why. Kind of miss him.

Cruelty to animals eek, its just not acceptable....YOU should seek help immediately, there have been studies conducted that reveal that some people that torture animals move on to be sadistic serial killers. :)

Dropping thier tails does not fool my cats!

They supplement their diet with a couple of jin joks every evening.

:D

Actually, i havent seen him for a while now. Maybe he is hiding indoor somewhere. Recently did a big clean though..inside and out. No sign of him. :D

maybe he was a libertarian jing jok and had had enough of the 'nanny state' and decided to eschew hand outs and good intentions and went elsewhere to engage in rugged individualism...within the capacity of his crippled condition, of course...
