Extending Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have to extend my multiple entry tourist visa, to get the 30 day extension, can someone just confirm that it is at Immigration Division 1 on the map on the link below?

Any other info anyone can give about the process would be much appreciated. I take it you just need your passport and a couple of photos, or is there other documents required?

Cheers.

Yes, Chaeng Wattana if you are in Bangkok. You will need to take with you completed application form TM7, passport sized photo, copies of your passport photo page, visa page, entry/permission to stay page + TM6 departure card. Fee 1900 baht.

Fantastic, thanks for that. Are the TM7 forms available at immigration on the day or do they have to be printed first?

You can obtain at immigration as well, but may save time to complete beforehand.

Sorry one more question, my stamp says admitted until 24th Nov, can I go to immigration and get the extension on the 24th, or is it better to go on the 23rd?

Go now. You lose nothing to do early as the time will start at end of current stay.
