From my experience it was not the "dry" sensation that the women were trying to achieve. They had an issue with the types of lubricants being used... caused burning etc. As for me, I can not handle any spermicidal lubes or condoms pre-lubed with the stuff. (Burns)

So to eliminate all doubts, I liked the non-lube types too.... but in the heat of the moment.... I aint too picky....

I gotta agree with the comments below.... I'm a big/tall guy overall, and everything is proportionate. Trying to fit the regular size is a non-starter.... The Trojan Magnum's are OK, but really feel a bit thick. I'd never tried the Durex 56s until I moved here, and couldn't find the Magnum's locally (apart from bringing them back from trips to the U.S.) So I tried the Durex 56s, and was surprised to find they fit OK and feel thinner, which the sizing/thickness stats I found and posed earlier bear out.

Interestingly, among the various larger sized products, they do seem to vary in the overall length and width/circumference in the body and head portions. But all of them seem to be the same at the ring/base, being about 2 in. in circumference.

I have to laugh at that tool to measure. It only goes to 56mm, the same as Thai condoms. Interesting that they can't conceive of anyone being bigger than that.

I spend so much time and effort trying to get a 56 on, that I usually lose my erection. Having the woman put it on stops that, but not all women will do it. I have larger condoms shipped from the states now. If you are thick, I'd recommend the Magnum XL it is the biggest out there, easy to put on. It is however a bit thick for my taste. Second is the Trustex extra large, it is bigger than 56mm, though not as big as the Magnum XL, it is very thin, for maximum pleasure. Warning: I have had a couple of the Trustex break. I stick with the Magnum XL now. There is a site will ship to Thailand at a resonable cost. I buy 100 at a time to save shipping cost. They always send me a discount coupon by e-mail for my next buy, it just about covers shipping on the next order. If Thai condoms are to small for you I highly recommend the site, and the two condoms listed. If you are long, but don't need that big around, the regular Magnum is a good choice.

Here in Thailand, I found that all 56mm's are not equal. I've only found 3 brands. The easiest to find is the Durex 56mm, in the blue package. It is also the biggest of the three. One brand I found claiming to be 56 mm, I couldn't even put on myself, it was so small, and then only rolled out about 4 inches. The Durex will roll out to about 6 inches which covers the average western man.

If you have a real girlfriend and not one that you "assist" financially, why would you be using a condom in the first place? Don't trust each other? Oral or injected contraception is pretty common and quite affordable. Unless there is some valid medical reason for not going on the pill or having the once-every-three-months injection (very few women cannot use one or the other), I see no reason at all for using party hats with your exclusive, significant "other."

That means that the condoms sold in the west are the same as the ones in Thailand.

Ok, I will try one more time. Please pay attention and read closely.

Yes condom manufacturers make different sizes, but they are labeled and branded as such. A regular condom manufactured and sold by Durex in Thailand is the SAME as what is available in the UK or the USA. Durex doesn't have different machines for different markets, nor is it cost effective to recertify a production line everytime you make condoms. In order to sell into the UK, Australia, USA etc. the condom has to meet strict standards. You can't just switch a machine over without recertifying and going through QC verification. Condom manufacturing comes under various countries pharmaceutical regulations and the standards for certification of production are the same for condoms as they are for making other items considered to be "medical devices".

I can argue technicalities all I want, but it will be a waste on some people, so instead here is a size list of common brands to help you lotharios with a big penis select an appropriate brand. Read the boxes and the product monographs for more specific size information.

Thailand has nowhere near the amount of choices in condoms as back home (USA). Another example of rather restricted choices here for various consumer products. Much more quality stuff available back home. I don't see what they think they are gaining by limiting choices in this stuff. Many Japanese brands aslo superior, but often to small.
