I plan to enter Thailand with a US passport and receive automatic 30-day visa. I will stay a week,

then go back to the US for 3 weeks, and then return to Thailand again, and stay for 3 weeks.

I will have any problem entering twice in the same 30-day period or staying more than 30 days
