Mac To Pc Ethernet Internet Connection Sharing

I have an iMac ( 2008 ) and my wife has a ACER E500 PC ( no WiFi connection ) , running Windows XP Media Edition

the only internet connection we have is to my iMac, so as both my iMac and my wifes PC both have

Ethernet connections , I am trying to share my iMac internet connection to my wifes PC via an

Ethernet cable , I am having no luck in getting it working . This is what ive got set on the Mac...

and

Ive got the Ethernet cable cable plugged into the iMac and PC , and ive not got stuck as to what I have to do next ?

I know I could just buy a WiFi USB adapter for the PC, but I would really like to have an Ethernet cable connection.

Any one an Idea what to do next with the settings

Connect the internet to the PC and share it with mac will be easy to do.

set your mac as 192.168.0.1 (ethernet)

your wifes as 192.168.0.2, with gateway as 192.168.0.1

If the pc is set to auto the ip address given above should work.
