Music Disappeared

Featured Replies

Hello

I use windows media player to rip my music to my notebook.

This then saves a copy in My Documents/My Music.

Yesterday I noticed that all of my music has disappeared from

this folder, but is still left on my WMP. Can someone please help

me get all the music back in to the My Music folder.

I've looked through the WMP options but have had no luck. :o

Thankyou

What do you mean "is still left on WMP" ?

Does that mean that you can see those songs in the WMP media library ?

If that's the case, then the last column of the right panel of the media library (File Name) will tell you where on your computer those files are.

Or go to "start" "search" and type in the name of one of the mising songs, should take you to the folder

Ok Thanks, I've got it back, don't know why but it had all moved

into another folder, and now i've retreived it.

Thanks again

Whatever you ripped it with- sounds like the default folder isn't MY Music Folder any more.
