Thailand - Hub Of Toilets

Featured Replies

HEALTH:Thailand will host a world toilet summit next year and has vowed to improve public toilets at tourist venues to meet international standards.

Deputy Public Health Minister Anuthin Charnveerakul said Bangkok would host the "World Toilet Expo and Public Toilet Forum" next year. China hosted the event last year.

Health officials would inspect public toilets at schools, restaurants and tourist venues to ensure they met international sanitary standards. The ministry's aim is to make at least 60% of public toilets at tourist venues meet the standards.

I once went to the International Symposium on toilets in Hong Kong - about 6 years ago. It was most exhilarating.

Flush with success.... :o

Ahhh ... so it's acceptable for 40% of Thailands public toilets to be filthy stinking sihtholes!

If the health officials go to Phuket or Pattaya they better have plenty

of Bt 5 coins in their pockets. There again perhaps the ones they are allowed

to inspect free of charge will get an automatic pass TIT. :o:D:D

is it a pan-asian conference.

They really should'nt do this ! There just gonna end up getting their

collective noses rubbed in it.

:o:D:D
