AC, you may be referring to when it closed up in soi 24 and re-opened in soi 26.

As far as I know it closed up about Feb or March this year.

Would love to see it re-open.

rgs - I know about that - I used to hang out at Tokyo Joes in Soi 26 whern I was in Bangkok. Love the place and the music!!

The rumour I heard was that it was back open and that Blue on Blue were playing there last Friday! Love Blue on Blue nearly as much as I love Soi Dog.

Yep, Tokyo Joe's was a great place! Great blues music...Googled Tokyo Joe's and found their my space web page, which said they are closed for the time being. It also said "We hope to return when the climate is more favorable." Hopefully that will be soon.
