Anyone Going To Malaysia

Featured Replies

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me in a small matter. I have a Malaysian SIM card (telephone card) that I use for roaming when going overseas and it is due to expire in a couple weeks. I do have quite some money stored on it so would like to recharge it as soon as possible so as not to lose the money on it. Would anyone be willing to buy me a recharge card or two for MAXIS telecom in Malaysia and give me the number. I would obviously either meet up or send the money to buy it.

Thanks and regards,

FALCON,

Maxis nowadays has a prepaid plan that is called "360" or something like that. it gives you a full year validity for a small extra-fee.

I was in the same situation as you, had a huge amount on my SIM, but rarely used it, but always had to top-up to keep the number alive.

I then learned about that program and went to the MAXIS-Center at KL's Plaza Low Yat.

Within a few minutes my plan was changed to "360" (though the first customer agent I approached there hadn't heard about that plan yet, but thanks god his superior knew about it) and my soul found its' peace without topping up every now and then ^^

I assume you can change plans via the call-center too, so why not check Maxis' website first (Maxis or HOTLINK, google for it) and then try to call them

Falcon, I'm in KL and I can help get you the reload cards. Tell me what you need.

Cheers. :)
