Can I Use Thai Student Loan Abroad

Featured Replies

I was wondering if i could use thai student loan and study in london ? thanks in advance :)

I didnt know Thailand had student loans. I have sooooo much to learn?? Who can get them?

I'd guess like anything here, if you can afford to do it then you can - but would be surprised if the government loan would cover much of the costs of being an overseas student.

Thai students. :)

Most banks will give student loans to the parents. A job is required.

The universities offer loans directly to students who will be going there. I don't know the details of how those work.

As far as the UK is concerned you only need to show that you have sufficient funds; where they came from is not asked.

Whether whoever gave you the loan will allow the funds to be used in this way is a question you need to ask them.

Student visas to the UK are issued under the Tier 4 points pased system (unless the course lasts less than 6 months). For more information on this see Guidance - Points Based System Tier 4: (General) Student and (Child) Student (INF 29)

If you need any help or advice on obtaining a UK student visa I suggest that you start a topic in the Visas and migration to other countries forum.
