Able
As already mentioned there's not very much detail in the original piece.- Was he just suggesting sex? We don't know. - Was he violently holding her down and/or was he violently violatating her private areas or forcing his apendage into her? We don't know. - Was it hapening every night for some time? We don't know. - Was there a broad picture of regular domestic violence? And if do, was it mild or was it seriously frightening her and slowly pushing her to react very strongly? We don't know. Fortunately I have been involved in this case so can give some answers to the above questions. I spent all day yesterday at the Lop Buri police station with this girls family and the people involved in the case, as to the questions above and the questions in other posts about the guys apendage: There has been a clear history of violence between this couple, usually fueled by alchohol. The girl regularly telephoned her family to say she had been beaten once again by her boyfreind. The boyfriend, and not the girl as is suggested in the report, was prone to fits of jealousy which commonly turned to violence against her. On this occasion it seems that he returned home drunk and demanded sex which she refused. He threatened her with a knife and she still refused, at this point he began beating her. (We will be requesting today that the bruises, in particular to her back and head are photographed by the police who have not yet recorded them). She managed to get hold of the knife and lashed out at him as he was assaulting her. It would seem that there was only the one puncture wound to the mans chest and that this one wound was fatal. It seems there was a small cut to his appendage, a long way from lethal, though it is not certain if this was caused before or after the wound to the mans chest. One police report seems to suggest that she cut off his appendage and he died from the ensuing bloodloss. However reports from neigbours who saw the body suggest the said cut was small and couldn't possibly have caused enough bloodloss to be fatal. Conflicting reports are common in cases like this. The autopsy report will hopefully resolve some of the conflicting statements. Needlass to say this case is absolutely tragic for both families. otherstuff1957
I wouldn't wait for the police to take pictures of her injuries, they may not get around to it! Get one of those throwaway polaroids(or use a non-digital camera if you have one) and take some clear, well lighted pictures of her injuries now. Then put the originals into a sealed envelope & mail them to yourself (or her). Don't open the envelope when it arrives, keep it or have a lawyer keep it until needed. A sealed, postmarked envelope is usually considered to be a good way to legally date & preserve evidence.
aussiejosh
Self defence? if he was attacking her... Then perhaps abuse of a corpse?
jayjayjayjay
Can not fault hear. He's dead, so the arguement is a little one-sided now! What if he was womanizing at a karaoke joint, came home drunk, ignored her screams of desperation for seeing younger ladies and promptly fell asleep in a drunken stupor. What if-------------- The said "victim" then cutoff said member with knife while he sleeps, he wakes to the searing pain, takes preventive aggressive action, at which time is stabbed resulting in injuries he dies from........... !!! This doesn't make him a good guy, but it doesn't justify being killed. This option is only a possibility, but for a woman to cut a member off in the heat of an argument would be an extremely difficult action to achieve! Doing so when he is asleep is far more likely. In addition after reading Able's email, still no retraction of my comments. Her report and the said abuse should be NOT to her family, but to police. Is there a police report. Goodness sakes, the guy is dead! If she had a problem she should have left him! But agreed with Able's final summary, tragic for both families concerned. Junglejumbo
I used to know a good looking 24 year old who married and had kids with a lady in her mid 30's. It turned out that he also liked to beat her and she enjoyed it most of the time. That's why he chose a lady who was ugly and older than him. Because the sex was good for him (them). So before saying that the kid deserved to die for hitting a lady, which is wrong, think too about what she might like. I think the old gray western males here all grew up thinking woman generally don't like sex, and if they do they only like the missionary position and only until the age of 40. That's all wrong.
