December 1, 200916 yr The most recent visa stats can be found here: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/doc...isastats2008-09 The info on settlement visa applications from Thailand is on page 75. I doubt there is any reliable source that can say how many of any nationality are in the UK, whether legally or not.

December 2, 200916 yr I doubt there is any reliable source that can say how many of any nationality are in the UK, whether legally or not. None that i know of; even if there are figures for ILR, and I've been unable to find them, then I doubt that these would include the applicant's nationality. The census figures wouldn't help, as Thais come under 'other' in the ethnicity section. As this article on Thai-UK* asks What does the UK Thai community look like? How many Thais live in the UK and what do they do? Can we really talk about a 'community' and if so, what is it that brings Thai people together? BTW, Xonax, from the Thai people we know as friends, are acquainted with or have simply heard of from mutual acquaintances; your guess is completely wrong. *Not the internet forum with a similar name!
