Can I Get More Than 1mbps Internet Connection In My Area? Khlong Chan, Bang Kapi?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I have just moved from chiang mai to bangkok. But now I am here in Bangkok I am trying to get internet for the house but both True and TOT have said that they cannot offer me more than a 1mb connection??? this seems useless?? I mean I was out in the middle of a field in chiang mai and I had a 5mb line? but moved to the capital city and they are saying max 1Mbps??

I called 3BB call center and they told me to go to Bang Kapi mall and ask in there office. After quite litterally 2 hours of walking around the mall i could not find there office? then was told to look across the road at N mark. Finally found TOT and CAT offices but they were closed? at only 4pm??

Anyways, can someone please tell me if there are any other options?

Does anyone live in the Khlong Chan area with fast internet?

as far as I can see the only options are TOT, Maxnet and true. Are there any others?

Also, does anyone know about these air cards? are they any good?

I want an unlimited up and download option as I will be using a slingbox to receive my UK sky package. also I download a HUGE amount of series's and documentaries. so would like a minium of 4 meg connection.

Any help will be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks...
