Uk Settlement (photo Copies)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I currently putting together our settlement documents for when I return to Thailand this month to get married and then apply at the start of next year.

Now my question is do I need photo copies of all documents ie bank statements phone records?

it just that I did this last year for a visit visa and they never kept them just returned with everything else plus I have well over 200 pages seems alot to copy.

Thanks James.

Update everything and hand it in with your wife's application. They won't refuse her application for supplying too much information but they will for not supplying enough. They'll return everything again after looking at it.

Good luck.

From Supporting documents

You should submit original documents with a photocopy of each original document. If you do not include photocopies of original documents, your original documents may not be returned to you.

I would re-itterate having too much rather than too little!!

I think the poor guy with our application thought that he would loose his arm with the thickness of the folder - he might have only flicked through but I would say that give as much evidence as you can even if it does mean photocopying loads of documents.

Good luck

Just ensure the dummies at UK/Vac take everything from you they have a habit of handing things back last month is was a photo album they tried to return. One would have thought this was important however they did not seem to think so.
