Bank Statement Of Regular Fix Deposit Account

Featured Replies

Anybody who has 6 month or 12 month regular fix deposit account with Bangkok Bank, Siam commercial bank, Kasikorn Bank, Krung Sri Bank, UOB Bank, or Thai milatary bank or Thanachart Bank . Have you ever recieved Bank statement or confirmation letter of fund on deposit by mail yearly or over a year ? In Which Situation does Bank send bank statement of regular deposit fix account ? I called call center and visit branch Bank. They do not exactly. In the Past , I have had 12 month fix regular deposit account with one BanK ( not Above Banks) and I recieved Bank statement or letter of balance account every june, december?IT was surprised me because Bank told me they will not send any statement of regular fix account . thank you :)

You have a passbook with these accounts and update when you like - no statements are normally sent out. Only a few banks use statement type accounts - most are passbook.

UOB non-passbook fixed account, the bank doesn't send out statements either.

The passbook substitutes for a statement. You can update your book at a branch - they have the passbook update machines.

My experience is that Bangkok Bank is passbook only. Never received a statement.
