Hi guys where do I get proof of address. Can I go to the local Amphur office?

If you have a yellow book you can use that, if not then you will have to get a letter from your Embassy.

The Amphur do not register locations of Foreigners.

Your local immigration office will be glad to issue a certificate if you show up with a rental contract or electric bill in your name or copy of Tabien Baan signed by your landlord.

My amphur did, perhaps they were just having an off day? Or being helpful, in any case, it was free and worked at fine at the LTD/DMV.

Now I use my yellow tambien ban, even better, also free.

I also use my Yellow book, and have to change my one years for a five years on Christmas Day.

Yout local BIB can also give you a letter.

UK Embassy charges 2500 bt, imigration office 200 bt per licence car/bike. You need 2 photos. The letter they give you at imigration has your photo on it with a stamp. l went to Pibune.
