Thai Dual Sim Mobiles Work In Uk?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I need to buy a new mobile and am thinking of getting a dual sim phone (never seen these before at home UK).

My question is will the dual sim mobile (or any Thai mobile) work in UK? Anyone got any recomendations for models / brands? I think the cheapest are I-mobile, G-NET and AJ but think perhaps these are not very reliable?

I had heard that to work in Thailand my mobile must be at least tri band?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Pretty sure that mobiles bought in the UK or Thailand are GSM 900/1800 compatible, while those sold in the States are GSM 1900; therefore, people coming from the States generally need a tri-band phone to work here.

Yes, a tri-band dual sim will work in the uk.

Hi,

Which one have you tried? I am also looking for a dual sim cards phone with wifi.

Thanks.
