I would like to post something positive about Thai companies [for a change].

In Feb 2009, I bought a Hitachi breadmaker from Verasu.com and after sending the thb by bank transfer, they promptly sent me the Hitachi breadmaker by Thai post. It worked great for 6 months then started baking bricks and I returned it via their Chiang Mai service center. It was returned to me still broken and I returned it again....meanwhile loging my complaints with Hitachi global and voicing my situation to Verasu.

I had almost given up on ever getting the machine repaired, replaced and/or refund, but THEY PLAYED FAIR and gave me a FULL REFUND.

A big THANKS goes out to both Hitachi Thailand and Verasu.com, who had a very helpful customer service agent named Wantanee who supported me all the way and returned all calls and frustrated emails from me.

Who says that there is no after sales service in LOS??
