I understand that the first time you apply for an extension based on marriage (gives you 12 months and you report every 90 days) you must show a picture of your house w/ your wife........and it should include the address. Yes?

Question: On your second, third, etc., annual trip for a marriage extension, do you still have to show pictures of the house/wife?

If you can answer that question and update us on what is needed for a US citizen to get a marriage extension, please do.

I think, in terms of the income requirement, all I have to do is get a certified document from my embassy.

I just did my extension in Nonthaburi, look pictures of everything again and also the wife in tow. I used this list and the other things mentioned.

(A minimum of) 400.000 bahts in a thai (fixe term saving) account in my only name for (at least) 3 months - 3 months which made me ask this extension only 48 hours before the end of the previous one - which have been checked both with the bank letter AND by a simple operation on the book-bank at some ATM downstairs!

Another 300 days without worrying!

In my case they visited the house and the wife showed them the wedding photos.

We had invited a few police officers to the wedding, the wife's idea.

Subsequent visits they just looked around.
