Work Visa

Featured Replies

I have work permist, and visa for one year. But i dont like the job. However i will like to stay as turist, if is for more than one mounth even better. Any one know how can i manage that situation?

The question is if you have a multiple non-immigrant visa from abroad and have to leave the country every 90 days or are you on a 1 year extension of stay based on your employment.

If you have a valid multiple visa, there is no problem and you can stay. If you are on a 1 year extension of stay from immigration in Thailand you have to leave the country the same day your employment ends but can get a 7 day extension for 1,900 baht.

As Mario said, it depends on what you now have.

im afraid i have 1 year visa from Imigration in Thailand. Another way must leave the country for few days and them came back as turist. But not sure if they must say not time enogh between last time.

You will be fine. Go to Vientianne, Laos, and you will get a double entry tourist visa. (2 times 60 days and each 60 day entry can be extended with 30 days for 1,900 baht. Make sure you enter the second time before your visa expires).
