Re Entry At Airport

Featured Replies

I have a non imm "o".

I have no re entry permit, I need to return to Aus unexpectedly, I am told I need to go to Mae Sai for this but it is a looong way.

Does any one have current info as to obtaining a form and applying at Bangkok airport ????

Not available at airport unless extreme emergency and have only seen one successful report - and that was months ago. Go to Mai Sai if that is where your extension of stay is from.

You can no longer obtain at the airport except in case of emergency (and have only seen 1 report). You will have to obtain re-entry permit from the local immigration office in the area where you live.

You will need to take with you copies of passport pages (photo page/visa page/entry stamp), TM6 departure card, passport sized photo, application form TM8 and fee (1,000 baht single entry; 3,800 baht multiple entry)

Thanks. We're looking at the link.

Lop: Do you have this form saved as a document file you can upload?

Here is the original TM8. Not sure if it has changed since I downloaded it in 2006.

tm8_original_.doc

Note: it is a two page document which has to be printed front and back on the same sheet of paper!

Thanks opalhort.

2006 is last revision I have seen, so this is probably the one.

Most Immigration related forms can also be found for downloading on the Immigration website

For sure. There is currently a warning message on Google about the immigration website, which is why I didn't go that way:

"This site may harm your computer" :)

"This site may harm your computer" :)

This was a couple of days ago when I got an "under construction notice", but things appear to have been cleared up by now and everything works OK.

(I'm protected and any bad stuff would be blocked!)

Both messages are still there, but better to be safe than sorry. Anyway, the important thing is that the Op has now got his form. :)
