I have a proplem with the tourist visa sticker and the dates on it.

it is issued on the 16 Sep'09

"this visa must be utilized before 14 mar 2010"

Am i still possible to make a visa run / or enter thailand on the 14th of march and still get my 60 days?

because it is saying "UTILISED BEFORE 14 MAR"

this confusion makes me worried.

thank you

Which part of "before" is unclear here? you can use it on the 13th, but not on the 14th.

Edit: and you still will get your 60 days, that has nothing to do with it.

As said, you must do a border run and re-enter the Kingdom by 13th March latest to activate your second 60 day period of stay. You can then extend your permission to stay for a further 30 days at Thai immigration if required (fee 1,900 baht).

That how I understand it to. Till my Girlfriend called the Immiration at the border and they also said. "You can do the Visa Run on the 14th and still get 60 Days :) "

Immigration is wrong, or maybe misunderstood. The visa expires midnight 13th March and has to be used before then to activate second period of stay.

I also believe that you can do you a visa run on the 14th as use before can also be interpreted as using before the end of the 14th. "use by"..."use before"...like milk from the supermarket...same same.

I've never tested it out however because the risk of losing the 60 days far outweighs the benefit of one extra day.

It will be up to the Immigration official. But much better not to take a chance.
