Cases of apparent random shootings taking place in the Pattaya area are on the increase with yet another case occurring in the early hours of Sunday Morning at the North end of Pattaya Third Road. A male and female who had travelled down from Bangkok to enjoy a night out in Pattaya were injured as they sat in their White Toyota Yaris. Khun Kajongiet aged 24 and Khun Tidaree aged 26 sustained gun shot wounds to their backs but appeared not to be seriously injured. They explained to Police that a group of men in a Black Toyota Car drove beside the victim’s car and began to stare at the female passenger in the car. Behind the black car, was a gang of 10 men on motorbikes who then pulled up beside the car and one of the gang members produced a gun and shot a single bullet which injured both victims. Police believe an incident at a local Pub earlier in the night may have led to the shooting but they cannot be sure at this time and believe this could also be a completely random attack but will continue the investigation into the case in the coming days with the intention of arresting those involved.

I used to be indecisive, but now i am not sure.

Dont believe for a minute this is a random attack.Maybe drugs related,coming down from Bk to sell drugs on someones turf is not a good idea.There is gang related shooting in the thai areas of Pattaya but thats no different than anywhere in the world,and nearly always about gangs/drugs/fighting over a woman.
