December 23, 200916 yr Thanks I googled it already though and can not find the specific one I am thinking of.Great little feature link though. Thanks my first guess would have been www.phuketsunshinevillage.org which came up in that google link there's also http://www.asiacenterfoundation.org/projects.html with a school in Patong or http://www.phukethasbeengoodtous.org/index.html beyond that, don't know Edited December 23, 200916 yr by genghis61
December 27, 200916 yr I hate to say this but I don't think victims of the tsunami are a tourist attraction, sure if these visitors were here 5 years ago then I can see some value in their wish to visit but if not then better they just make a donation. I still find it hard to talk sometimes about that period and children are most vunerable so we should think carefully about their feelings at this time of rememberence.
December 27, 200916 yr I'm not sure this would help you, but SOS Childrens Village just opened this year in Phuket. According to their website it's a tsunami village. http://www.soschildrensvillages.org.uk/cha...tsunami-village-
