April 22, 200521 yr I'm from the US and would like to set up a non-profit here in Thailand. Lots of information on setting up for-profit companies, but non-profits? I plan to see a lawyer about this but if anyone has any pointers, tips, etc., I would greatly appreciate it. Work permit isn't necessary, and most likely it would be set up in my wife's name. Idea is a community center (library-type services) open one day per week.
