My netbook (Acer Aspire one) came pre-installed with an OEM W7 starter edition. It has a program installed "Windows anytime upgrade"

When I try to upgrade the dialog says "sorry your country is not available please chose another reseller"

Bingo....

How can I upgrade in Thailand - online? I found Microsoft Thailand but the site is entirely in Thai no way to read it in English

Thanks

W7 anytime online upgrade is available in a few counties only/

I come to the conclusion I cant upgrade my w7 to a higher version but have

to buy a NEW w7 ($ 200) to achieve it. The latter I try to avoid. According to M$

the Anytime upgrade cost only 120 bucks compared to 200$ on their web site.

Can I upgrade or do I have to run a new install?

Im guessing since w7 doesnt come with thai language support is the reason it wont let you download it. I have an acer aspire aoa150 that came with xp and run win7 ultimate, it runs fine so far. And yes it is an unlicensed version I bought here.
