Car Rental Advice In Bkk

Featured Replies

I have a Thai DL now and would like to rent a car by the month here in Bangkok. Anyone with experience doing this with advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

I did a search with very little in the way of helpful results.

I found several company websites; Avis, Hertz, Budget, etc.

Prices seemed rather high at 30-50,000 B/month.

I was hopeing to find something in the 10-20,000 B/month range.

Thanks

I have tried a number of car rental companies and found the one recommended on this site about a year ago to still be the best. Lumpini car rent just across the street from Lumpini park on Wireless road. You should be able to get a very nice car for your price range.

Agree. the worst is Silom something and Krung Thai something rents. Lumpini, so far - the best. they can wait a bit longer, fix problems over phone, good prices and honest.

######! I used to go to Avis in Wireless Road - and they charge ~1400/day for typical saloons.
